*If you are not already, please clip the Box Tops for Education coupons and
Campbell Soup UPC's. Our school uses these to purchase school supplies
that benefit all the huskies. Send both of these items into the school
in a
baggie to the attention of the PTA. Campbell Soup UPC's can be sent in
without a teacher's name, but please send boxtops in to a specific teacher.
Each classroom keeps their own boxtops.
*The Kroger card are an easy way to support the school. If
you
have these cards and designate Harmony as your school, 4% of all your
purchases go directly to the school. The Kroger card can be purchased
from
Jane Luzzio (228-0913, jarilu@hotmail.com) for $5. The card comes loaded
with $5, so your out-of-pocket expense is $0. . For more information on either of
these contact Chairperson Jane Luzzio.
Papa John's Pizza Nights (20% of the sales to the PTA). Look for the form to
come home in the Wednesday folder the week before the event.
Spare Change Fridays (all monies go to stocking our library). Send in your
pocket change to your child's classroom the last Friday of each month. The
money raised will be used to purchase books for our library to help us reach
state accreditation faster.
Printer cartridge & cell phone recycling (all monies to the library)
Special Events:
The first fundraising event is our catalog sales. In the past we have used
Sally Foster. This year we will be using a company called Kleinhenn.
The
school will receive 50% of the sales. If your family would prefer - the PTA
would gladly accept donations in lieu of participation in the fundraiser.
Art to Remember will be a new fundraiser this year. I will be chaired
by Dawn Finnell.
Information regarding this event will come home in your child's Wednesday
folder.
