Activities for the 2007-2008 School Year

All of the following events and activities are sponsored and supported by the Harmony PTA. Volunteer efforts are essential to the success of each of these programs, and your input and suggestions are always welcome. PTA Membership

It's not too late to join the PTA. The PTA is a national network of people who support education and welfare of children. When you join, you support the many programs and projects that directly benefit students, teachers and parents at Harmony Elementary. A portion of each contribution is sent to the local, state and national PTA; the remainder of your donation benefits Harmony PTA programs. Get involved today! Contact Karen Morrison for details.

Room Parent Coordinator

The PTA provides each classroom with parent volunteers to serve as room parents. Room parents are responsible for providing support to students and teachers in the classroom and on field trips. If you are interested in helping in your classroom, contact Room Parent Chairperson, Laura Incorvia.

Beautification/Grounds

Hospitality

Fifth Grade Events

Taste of Harmony

Taste of Harmony is a family event that brings together food, art and fun!  Families sample delicious food from area restaurants and caterers as well as enjoy crafts, games and other activities.  A student art project sale wraps up the evening as the classes display their talent.

Catalog Sales
Chairperson: Beth Scherer
The Harmony PTA holds an annual catalog fundraiser.  This includes candy, wrapping paper, and small gifts.  The school receives approximately 50% of the total sales.  If your family would prefer, the PTA would gladly accept donations in lieu of participation in the fundraiser.  Assisting chair Beth Scherer with product distribution, November 1st, time to be determined.  Contact CatalogSales@HarmonyPTA.org with Name, Home Room Teacher & Phone.
